By pooling together a membership of mountain trade professionals and the national foreign trade agency, France Neige International has created a performing structure to promote French expertise abroad in this particular field : Specialized planners & consultants, manufacturers & distributors of mountain equipment & recreational products, miscellaneous information, training & promotion agencies, trade associations, etc.
Be pro-active in informing foreign entities of the French know-how and availability of qualified suppliers for the equipment of mountain resorts. Observe the evolution of the so-called mature markets and spot the emerging one to bring them to the attention of our membership. Introduce and assist the companies with export potential by means of technical and financial support

wThe implementation of the "four season mountain" program got underway with a gathering on September 22, 2005 at the "Alpespace" site, in Montmelian. Several mountain development professionals were present.

It became clear that the participating companies could benefit from the assistance of France Neige International in assessing their export potential for outdoor "four seasons" equipment.

Furthermore, for the firms already engaged in exporting activities, a continuous presence would enhance the impact of their somewhat intermittent promotions.

This is why a working group is going to be formed, headed by a delegate, in order to pursue the proven techniques of export promotion.

Along that line, Marc Hoffmeister, "Classe-Export" CEO, is proposing the creation of a panel to gather and share such information, with the participation of "Erai" and "Ubifrance".  He suggested coming up with a specific proposal taking into account the existing organizations :

— The Toolbox :  A database, constantly updated, gathering information on financial aid, specific zone or country promotions, logistics & technical assistances in order to better address and offer more personalized answers to the flow of inquiries.

This network will be made of public, private and mixed entities.

— The "Classe-Export" Trade Show :  Invitation all the France Neige International members to the next trade show, November 30-December 1, 2005 at Lyon-Eurexpo.  Meetings with trade professionals could be organized to answer technical concerns.
